Installation
The Installation is quite simple. Follow the steps below and everything will turn out fine.
· Download latest PHPrcon version here
· Uncompress the file into a directory on your webserver. You need PHP4 or greater
· Open "install.php" in the PHPrcon directory "/install"
· Fill the different forms with the correct data and navigate to the "Download" tab.
If you have PHP installed as a module you can download the new built "config.php", otherwise you have to Copy & Paste
the displayed configurations into a "config.php" by hand.
· Save "config.php" into your PHProcn directory "/config".
No data will sent anywhere, but to you. The download you receive is from YOUR webserver to YOUR browser!
Please check if the session.save_path variable in your php.ini points to a vaild directory on your server.
Your webserver needs read and write permissions to that folder, otherwise the login won't work.
Configuring PHPrcon is the same way. Just start "install.php". All data will be displayed in the form,
except for all the passwords. Everytime you want to configure PHPrcon you have to retype the passwords.
This is for your own security.
If you want to configure PHPrcon by your own without the installation script please read the
Configuration section.
System requirements:
· Webserver of any kind
· PHP 4.2 or greater installed as a module. The CGI version may cause problems
