I egt this error when trying to start my server:
"WARNING: UDP_OpenSocket: port: 27015 bind: Cannot assign requested address
FATAL ERROR (shutting down): Couldn't allocate dedicated server IP port"
This is my start command: "./hlds_run -game cstrike +ip 62.16.178.219 -port 27015 +maxplayers 10 +map cs_assault"

I have a siemens gigaset wireless router and forwarded port 27015.

Remove the +ip field from the commandline.

Restart the server, have someone try to connect.

Ok, I destroyed my wireless router when I tried to upgrade the firmware on it :(
I used a switch now and can etablish connection, but user who logs in from outside gets dropped out.

I can login with no problems.

Look at your IP...Thats fucked.

What IP is that supposed to have? external, or a LAN ip from a router?

External I guess. Do I need +ip then?

It is internal ip. But why can my friend connect to my server and then get dropped out again?

And when I try to use my external ip I get the error:

WARNING: UDP_OpenSocket: port: 27015 bind: Cannot assign requested address
FATAL ERROR (shutting down): Couldn't allocate dedicated server IP port

Now I only use a switch, and not a router....
