Hiya,

I've read all the online tutorials as well as the d-link manual regarding port forwarding for counter-strike. I've created all the virtual servers and the built in firewall is allowing the right ports etc, but I just can't find the game when I start it up. Is there anything I need to edit in server.cfg or anything like that so the master ip is my external ip, and not my LAN one?

You can only bind an IP address which is bound to the NIC on your computer which is running hlds, hence why it binds to your LAN ip if you're behind a router/nat implementation. That's where your port forwarding comes in.. you're telling the router where to forward packets destined for port 27105, otherwise they just get dropped.
