Hi, I`ve got 2pcs with Windows Xp pro I have the connection on my main PC, and the second PC shares this connection over a basic network.
The server work fine in the host of my internet service, but when i want to configure in my second pc, nobody can connect.
I tryed doing the steps in the post like...

"In Name or IP address of the computer hosting this service on your network, type the name or IP address of the computer that runs the service " is the host pc ?? and the LAN Ip???

"In External port number for this service, type the port number that external computers will use to contact this service!" how i know the port???

"In Internal Port number for this service, type the port number that the service on your network is using." how i know the port???

thanks a lot

To add a service definition
Open Network Connections.
Click the shared connection or the Internet connection that is protected by Internet Connection Firewall, and then, under Tasks, click Change settings of this connection.
On the Advanced tab, click Settings.
On the Services tab, click Add and enter all of the following information:
In Description of service, type an easily recognized name for the service.
In Name or IP address of the computer hosting this service on your network, type the name or IP address of the computer that runs the service.
In External port number for this service, type the port number that external computers will use to contact this service.
In Internal Port number for this service, type the port number that the service on your network is using.
Click either TCP or UDP.

Do as above, because if it works on the ICS host, and not on the slave, then you've missed something above!

external port = 27015
internal port = 27015

bada bingage

In case KIK forgot to mention:

Set your Ports to
external port = 27015
internal port = 27015

- or if he missed to tell you:
buy an router

and finaly
setting up a box as an router might do the trick. :p

@ kick - did we forget to mention anything? :D
